I don't know how it works in your family, but somehow, when my family comes to town they will NOT let us pay for anything...which actually make it awesome and cost efficient for us!
Sure, the first couple of meals I'm able to scam the waiter or waitress into bringing me the check, but then my father-in-law gets wize to that and just starts paying for stuff.
